Every room listed in all our storage auctions fully complies with the Self Storage Association’s (SSA) recommended best practice. Established in 1995, the SSA is the principal trade association in the UK supporting the self storage industry.

Following best practice, we thoroughly inspect every room we list, taking time to go through everything in the room. Through this, we provide detailed descriptions and clear photos with every listing. Additionally, we do not remove any items from storage rooms before the auction, other than personal items and items that are illegal to sell in the UK. 

Therefore, you can bid on any listing accurately, knowing exactly what you’re buying. So, there are no surprises when you come to collect the items.

When you place a bid on a storage room with us, you’re bidding for the entire contents of the room. Whilst there are no buyer’s fees, you’re required to pay a security deposit. If you’re unable to clear the entire room or leave anything behind, this will be forfeited. All security deposits are clearly stated in each listing, so you can bid accurately with full costs in mind.

Furthermore, the method of payment is always stated. Some of the storage companies we work with prefer payment on collection, whereas others require payment via us before collection.
